I have a private acupressure practice in Berkeley (Certified Massage and Acupressure Therapist). My background in body work includes years of aikido and yoga practice; craniosacral studies with The Upledger Institute; and acupressure/massage studies at The Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, CA.
Since my graduation from NYU with a B.A. in English literature, I've published poetry and short stories in a variety of literary journals and magazines as well as two books and two chapbooks. Journals in which my poems have appeared include Poetry East, American Poetry Review (with an introduction by Denise Levertov), The Harvard Magazine, Commonweal, New Millennium, The Belleview Literary Review, and Umbrella.
